This book follows Jordan Driscoll in his rise from outsider to star trader at a Houston Energy Trading Hedge Fund. At the request of his dying father he seeks out Kip Shannon in the Texas Hill-Country, the rebel billionaire whose new idea is to turn the trading industry from a self-serving, soul killing industry into one whose purpose is to serve others.
Jordan will have to decide for himself if he wants the debaucherous life of a hedge fund trader or an epicurean one devoted to service. Kip will also have to decide if he is brave enough now to leave the wilderness of the Texas Hill Country and return to Houston a changed and better man to pursue a greater philanthropic movement.
